Composition Pte Ltd is a Singapore based art gallery established in 2018 to focus on promoting Singapore artists.  These artists have shaped the landscape of Singapore Art for the past 50 years and more. Their art will continue to lead, shape and inspire us into the next century and beyond.  Henri Matisse says, “Creativity takes courage” and as such, Composition proudly plays the role of cheerleaders to the Singapore artists.

Vision: To be a distinctive fine art gallery representing Singapore artists and presenting their exquisite artworks.

Mission: To focus on the distinctive content of the artworks as content is the core of arts, culture and heritage.  A nation’s unique content shapes its national identity and distinctiveness.

About Michelle Loh, Director of Composition Pte Ltd

Michelle is a trained landscape designer (Singapore Horticulture School, Singapore Botanic Gardens).  She started her career in visual art in 2006 at Starcap Galleries.  In 2013, set up her own first gallery, Beyond Colours at Tanglin Shopping Centre.  In 2018, she set up her second gallery, Composition Pte Ltd at Tanglin Shopping Centre

She has represented artists Cheong Soo Pieng, Chen Wen Hsi, Chen Chong Swee, Chua Mia Tee, Koeh Sia Yong, Eng Siak Loy, Ng Woon Lam, Ling Yang Chang and Henry Lee  during the last 14 years.  She has published 2 art books, The Oil Painting of Lee Man Fong (Beyond Colours) and Drawings by Cheong Soo Pieng (Composition).

Besides private collectors, Beyond Colours and Composition’s clients include National Gallery Singapore and URA, Singapore.
